Subscription, Cancellation and Refund Policy

Effective: 11 August 2026Last updated: 11 August 2026Version: 1.0

Current pricing

The 5 and 20 Buddy Buddy platform is currently free to use. No membership fee, subscription, or recurring payment is charged.

Books

The books "5 and 20: Buddy Buddy" and "Last Parade" by Steve Gaskell are available for purchase from third-party retailers. Links on the Platform's book page redirect you to those retailers, who handle payment, delivery, and returns under their own terms. We do not process payments for books on this Platform.

If paid features are introduced

If we introduce paid features, subscriptions, or recurring payments in the future, we will update this policy with:

  • The price and billing frequency of each feature.
  • The payment processing provider used.
  • How recurring payments and renewals work.
  • How to cancel, and when cancellation takes effect.
  • Whether a free trial is offered and what happens at the end of the trial.
  • Cooling-off rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
  • Refund circumstances and how refunds are processed.
  • What happens to access after cancellation.
  • How failed payments are handled.
  • How and when we will notify you of price changes.

No charge will be applied without your explicit agreement. You will have the opportunity to review and accept any new terms before a charge is made.

Cancelling your account

You can cancel your account at any time, free of charge, from the Account page. Cancellation takes effect immediately. Your data is deleted within 30 days, as set out in our Privacy Notice.

Consumer rights

Your statutory consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 are not affected by this policy. If you have a complaint about a charge, contact us via the Contact page in the first instance.
